Purpose of study
You will gain theoretical and practical knowledge of management and quality sciences and related disciplines. This will include the nature, laws and problems of organisational functioning and how to solve these problems effectively and efficiently. You will develop the ability to critically analyse, interpret and evaluate management phenomena and processes. You will also be able to assess the impact of the environment on these phenomena and make management decisions, including operational decisions. You will acquire the skills to organise teamwork, manage small teams and communicate, negotiate and persuade effectively. This will prepare you for specialist positions in the management system, middle managers, advisors and consultants in business-like organisations. You will also be ready to run your own business, particularly in the SME sector.
